i dont smoke weed anymore, well i did today but the shortness of breath from the abilify was so extreme i wonder if i will smoke again lol its f***** up

I personally do not recommend this strategy if you are serious about music. If you really need Metatune because you don't want to invest money in Antares, you are right to proceed in this direction. Remember that some products are so damned protected that even if R2R one day releases a version, it can be buggy or unusable (Liquidsonics, Sound Radix, Pro Tools, Sonnox, McDSP etc). It's not worth waiting for something you don't know if it will ever come imo. Invest your money and run to make projects and money with your music. It's just my opinion, hope it can help you.

To me it sounds too similar to Antares Auto-tune...in fact they even compare it directly against Antares Auto Tune in a marketing video.
I don't want to sound snobby, but I think Antares would be a better release to go for instead of waiting for a Meta Tune release or buying it legit.

it sounds like autotune at 0 ms setting at -3ms it sounds way more robotic which is the effect im going for and that's why im gonna buy it

 

You can write a hit song tomorrow if you bought it today. If you wait certain time for sister site release, the song can be gone forever…

Did you try Crispytuner? It's a lot cheaper with the PA-Discounts (49.99 at the moment, but with a discount code even cheaper) and I personally like it more than MetaTune

 

i tried crispytuner it lowers the volume of the signal for me in ableton 11 suite compared to metatune or antares autotune didnt bother to check on fl since its a big red flag to lower the volume of a signal

I bought a lot of licenses after they had been released at AZ. I'm not even sure if I own any license that haven't been cracked yet. So I see no problem in that.

 

iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 does more frequent AutoTune warble / wobble on "certain parts of vocal recordings" than Slate Digital MetaTune set to (negative -3ms speed mode)

I always had suspicions that Slate Digital MetaTune (negative -3ms speed mode) was overrated, and it's not really negative -3ms speed AutoTune, it's just some lame glitchy effect that sounds nothing like the AutoTune effect.

I also figured how to replicate Slate Digital MetaTune's (negative -3ms speed mode) with the iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 VST, you basically just open up multiple instances of the iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 VST and set all of the multiple instances of the iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 VST to C Major.

Here's a comparison of all the main AutoTune VST's on the same vocal recording, the key & scale is set to C Major and the AutoTune speed is set to max on all of the AutoTune VST's.

This is a good example of iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 standing out from the crowd, because iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 does more frequent AutoTune warble / wobble and flutter effects on "certain parts of vocal recordings", but those same "certain parts of vocal recordings" sound more normal / straight-line on all of the other AutoTune VST's.

Listen to all of the below audio clips, and you will notice how iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 sounds totally different and it has more AutoTune warble / wobble.
