Emergency counselling. I just avoided a Euronymous-Varg type situation thanks to BingAI.

I've been working on this project with a childhood friend I didn't collaborate with in a long time because he was such a massive pain in the ass (music-wise). These past days, problems emerged all across the board, I will spare you the details, but it put me on edge, and the last straw came this morning.
Well, I had a talk with that chatbox and the frustration and anger was knocked down several notches and decisions were made together with my robot friend to handle this difficult situation with intelligence and calm.

Just thought I would share.

I had trouble understanding why collab were so rare in the producers world (I was more of a guitarist who just learn tunes for fun and got into this 4/5 years ago), now I totally fucking get it.

Just train an AI on your chat history with your "friend" and save yourself a whole lot of headaches in the future.

 

No, no, I would be the one doing the stabbing. I'm not out of the wood yet. That little bastard refuses to acknowledge his mistakes and laziness. He's a bassist who holds to his basslines as if he was Thundercat and he asked me to "write some guitar parts" (aka "write the whole fucking song for him") for his project.

Also, regarding collaborations, the waste of time is NUTS. Some problems we have could be solved in 5 minutes if there was one ego less in the room. Now it just drags for days.
