I have Arturia V Collection 9 on my MacBook, upon looking at them, they are ones that come with the patcher command files

A while ago I must have had an earlier version of the Arturia plugins, as there is Arturia software software centre installed on my Mac.

I am not sure if when installing the Collection 9 plugins it still installs the software centre as it was already there when I installed the latest version of the plugins.

My question is this, can I delete the software centre from my Mac or do they Arturia plugins still need it?

Do NOT delete.

 

It is under 80 meg file. Why is removing this worth possibly breaking an installation? Firewall it in with either LuLu or Little Snitch. Even go so far as to block https://www.arturia.com in your hosts file.

If you are really concerned it is capable of all kinds of nefarious stuff while just sitting on your system; you could use Batchmod to take permissions away for R-X-W from Everyone and then just give them back to it if you notice any issue. (or via Terminal commands) /Applications/Arturia/Arturia Software Center.app
