Yeah, McDSP stood out to me as the one i'm most thirsty for too. They're one company i'd actually consider getting a subscription for. Awesome company that has over 2 decades of development behind them. Their main dev Colin is a mad scientist type. Great sound, great workflow, wide selection, lots of pros use them, you can't go wrong.

Their new delay plugin (EC-300) in particular sounds amazing from what i've heard in videos. Awesome workflow too

If i can ever afford to get analog gear in the future their APB-16 would probably be the first piece i buy

Slate stuff coming out now, I wonder if this means r2r have cracked the new ilok? Does anyone know which version of ilok these Slate releases use: Eiosis AirEQ, Eiosis E2DeEsser, Infinity EQ, Virtual Tape Machine, Verbasuite Classics, VBC?

If it's the new ilok then that opens up a whole boatload of releases that were untouchable. Right? Or am I wrong?

Not cracked, but I don't think it's worth it honestly. This is just so fucking funny to me. $200 to remove a highly specific type of sound in your audio. Acon Digital Acoustica Premium Edition is the same price and includes a debird tool!

Is that your opinion or can you factually prove it ? furthermore, this forum post is more about software that hasn't been cracked. i dont think its helpful to speculate.

 

There have been times when Steinberg, Avid, and many others thought the very same thing only to be telling their legal teams later to file DMCA notices because their uncrackable plugins and DAWs have been compromised.

 

I'm more interested in SoundWeaver. But if someone is working on audio recorded outdoors, $200 to them, to not deal with a repetitive problem caused by birds audio-bombing their sessions; would be like buying a nice expensive stapler is to someone working in an office. It's a pretty obvious "commercial use" reason for it to exist, and someone would probably pay whatever you asked. Imagine how tedious that would be. . AFAIK none of the Acon Digital plugins are spectral/ARA.
