Is there an alternative to Jdownloader

    I need an alternative to j downloader for the Sister Site, the new updates broke it and now it is very slow grabbing links then starting D/l

    If more up-loaders just uploaded torrent links, programs like Jdownloader would only be needed for those who only use the filesharing sites you have to pay for (and those download links never last long). Now torrents might have other issues I'm not aware of but from my perspective the community is big enough to always have peer to peer seeding for most downloads. Plus it would probably be able continue downloading after it got hit with DMCA takedown like a bunch of thing on the sister site recently.

    mine works here, i updated today already.

    There is not really an alternative to JD2.

    i recently updated from a JD2 beta version from 2013 (old java version based) to a new version, this really solved my CPU problems i had. Maybe worth a try looking at that.

    Click on help--> About Jdownloader - here you can see which JAVA version you are running. Something Java 17.x should be most recent.
