Hello together,
I installed the bought presets on following directory. But all presets are not shown in the Massive X Presets Browser. Any hint what is the problem with that?
I tried following steps too to see if it's linked to the folder. I copied the presets in the factory folder and I copied the presets in a Native Instruments library to see if the presets are shown. Nothing. Of course after I did every move I push to the rescan button. Thank you in advance for your support.
All native libraries libraries presets are shown without any issue. It's only the 3rd party presets that are now shown.

 

Copy your Soundbanks folder into: C:\Users\YourNAme\Documents\Native Instruments\User Content\Massive X
as shown in the picture. Massive X updates its presets automatically.

Hmm ok guys I need little help with a 3rd party stuff...

Im using latest VR release of massive x and there are missing soundbanks/presets of many 3rd party stuff.
As u see I have all copied to the right folder (as is said a two posts ealier).


But in Massive X browser is only one visible ( Community Drive 2021)....



But why it doesnt see the rest?? Where is a catch??
Any help?

After you press the ||\ menu to open the presets panel, on the far right on the search box, before the star icon there is a user icon. Press it and all the user presets will show up. All the presets from all user packs, in a single, unsorted list. Good luck finding a working one

Edit: If you're thinking to rename the presets so the browser will list them in some sort of order, don't. The name of the preset is baked-in the file name and MX will read it from there. They royally screwed up the preset browser for this one.

 

do you know if this plugin still rescans all presets on launch?

 

I don't think so, but I have just a small nr of user presets

Exactly.. user/3rd party preset management is basically non-existent. I refuse to believe that this only comes from bad preset manager coding. It's probably NI making the user part non-functional to try to push ppl only buying their expansions.. but all they're doing is pushing ppl like me to think twice before updating my legit collectors ed. this summer

 

Can't stand the GUI in Massive X. Especially the user presets. I agree they know what they are doing and what they aren't. Thus, I rarely use it.

 

Paste these XML Files into

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center

and reload Massive, they should pop up.

I tried everything and 3rd party libraries just won't show up in the browser as separate folders. You can still use the presets if you click the user icon on the right side of the search bar (next to favorites icon), they are all just listed together without any kind of arrangement other than alphabetical order.

 

If you don't have the XML files on service center Massive does not recognize the libraries, and where else would you find the XML files? I was trying to help you, idiot.

if you decode the base64 encoded URL you will find them located on a google drive, which is about as simple as it gets.
