    Hey, @vladimir guerrero

    Could you upload "List linked FX parameters" and "Smooth CCs" somewhere? I can't find them online. Thanks!

    If ReaPack is temporarily not working for some reason (or you don't want to use ReaPack), just download it from github. It's not that hard.

    I had to remove the /file from the URL and then it worked :wink: Thanks!

    Oh, I was looking in /JSFX instead of /ReaScripts and couldn't find it in the former. Cheers!

    Linking for coolness factor, not tried it yet. Neural net trained on MIDI data to "co-compose" with you.

    Paranormal FX Router for Reaper 7 - alternative track FX GUI.

    This is a visual alternative for the track FX / pin UI to help decode and set up more complex containers / band splits on a track. Can be used for regular FX browser duties too.

    I hope that all of you who are fed up with the damn level adjustment for analogue emu pluggies have already implemented this little trick:
    https://imgur.com/TaC92fr (sorry, couldn't insert the clip directly)

    P.S. Don't worry if you pause the clip and IN and OUT are not opposite equal, it's due to recording latency.

    Oh, in case this isn't obvious, first you need to click on the Adjustment handle of the OUT plugin, then on Param and then on Parameter modulation/MIDI link.
    And don't forget to save these two as an FX Chain. :winker:

    In a similar vein, for a fully automated gain matcher, the JSFX version of TBProAudio's ABLM is still available on their website (downloads -> search for JSFX).

    I use PT HD as well for some stuff. Albeit AU's 12.5 HD it does ALL I need it to do and runs every plugin I throw at it. Even the new ones. I'm curious as to what actual value add carrot they use to entice folks to "keep paying" over and over and over again?

    Theme Hybridization:

    This one could be considered a tip neither a trick for the transferring/copying Color Themes congif from one theme to other.

    Like the grid lines, fonts color, size, note color, midi editor, arrangement view background color, and also other configs u have set up or modified in ur current theme (V6), transferring those config from that theme to other. V7 theme in my case.

    *But be aware to make a backup before u mess with any of these, and make sure u rename the newly modified stuff, which will be a back up for a backup. Do the unpacking stuff on a different folder, on a entirely different location. ( No by location i did not mean outside or other place geographically- pun interned )

    *I have only tried this from V6 to V7,

    So, me, I liked the new Reaper theme V7 for its Fx view in the track panel (TCP) on the side, which could be useful while using fixed track heights and fx could be scrolled from side. And also the volume knob, V6 knob had a poor view it took me some tome to figure out which position it was until the track was played or i could hear. But i was also so used to V6 theme cauz i modded it to my liking and wasn't satisfied with any other theme other than mine. "Yeah Including Smooth". And its f****ing annoying to do it again.

    So figured out a way. So if u r like me lazy to config things once again with "Theme tweaker" for V7, follow.

    Preliminary Step:
    - Open up theme tweaker from the action list and save the theme (save as) with a increament number or rename slightly. This step is just to create an additional .ReaperTheme file outside of that package which was already in the theme package, like in pic below.
    (U can unpack and repack if u want to, but its just easier this way

    5.jpg
    here u can c the config theme file is name like this "Default_7.0.ReaperTheme.ReaperTheme" a packed theme will be like "Default_7.0.ReaperThemeZip" u can unpack the theme by renaming it to "Default_7.0.ReaperTheme.zip" and modify its contents)

    Once u use the theme tweaker to save the theme it will create a color theme config file like in the pic. which i renamed when using "theme tweaker" as "Default_7.0.ReaperTheme 6theme.ReaperTheme" which has an ext '.ReaperTheme'

    This file ('.ReaperTheme') can be opened using a text editor like Notepad++, which i used. Looks like this..
    1.jpg

    To copy the contents/color settings from the V6 theme u r using to V7, there are two methods

    Method 1
    Open up V6 .ReaperTheme file in the editor and just replace the bottom most line from for Ex. "ui_img=Default_6.0.ReaperThemeZip" (this depends on theme) to "ui_img=Default_7.0.ReaperThemeZip"
    2.jpg 3.jpg
    This just says Reaper to use the UI icons and stuff from the package mentioned "Default_7.0.ReaperThemeZip"
    However the only downside i had with this was font color in the Fx panel was white normally V7 has black fonts.

    4.jpg
    If u don need this behavior and are looking for specificity like me, use next method

    Method 2

    After the Preliminary step. Open up the V7 .ReaperTheme and V6 .ReaperTheme or ur fav or the best themes .ReaperTheme file in the editor on different tabs, and look for the lines u need to change, and copy the contents from that and replace those lines on V7 .ReaperTheme

    For Ex. I just copied what i needed like grid lines, background color, cursor color etc. from "My theme ReaperTheme 6 Font adju.ReaperTheme" file to "Default_7.0.ReaperTheme Font adj.ReaperTheme" and then i renamed it to "Default_7.0.ReaperTheme 6theme.ReaperTheme" (Pic on the preliminary step)

    Contents from
    V6

    Code:
    col_main_bg2=3092271
    col_main_text2=11250594
    col_main_textshadow=3092271
    col_main_3dhl=6579300
    col_main_3dsh=3092271
    col_main_resize2=9348626
    col_main_text=0
    col_main_bg=-2134851392
    col_main_editbk=13882321
    col_nodarkmodemiscwnd=0
    col_transport_editbk=3092271
    col_toolbar_text=14869214
    col_toolbar_text_on=10339863
    col_toolbar_frame=4934467

    Copy the lines and replace to that of below.

    V7
    Code:
    col_main_bg2=3355443
    col_main_text2=9211020
    col_main_textshadow=3355443
    col_main_3dhl=3355443
    col_main_3dsh=3355443
    col_main_resize2=9216020
    col_main_text=2236958
    col_main_bg=-2135838293
    col_main_editbk=14737630
    col_nodarkmodemiscwnd=1
    col_transport_editbk=3355443
    col_toolbar_text=10461087
    col_toolbar_text_on=10009626
    col_toolbar_frame=5131847

    PS:- This could be used with any themes, but with other than default themes u cant just copy entire contents or just replace a single line and expect to work. Have to be specific to what needs to be replaced.

    Open the Fx browser directly, when clicking on an empty Fx button.

    Instead of opening an empty Fx chain window, open up the Fx browser directly when clicking the Fx button on TCP or MCP, by enabling this little option in your preferences.

    Fx dialog.png

    Ps: i usually never use this, i just shortcut FX browser Drag Drop, but anyone using click and add. Or mapped to a controller.
