I've been creating a fresh Windows 10 installation, which means also a fresh installation of Ableton Live. In the past, I've just installed all of the factory packs that are free downloads. And 95% of them sit there, untouched, year after year, taking up space.

That said, there are some that I think are critical -- the drum and percussion packs, for example. And the Max 4 Live stuff. And there are others that I'm really quite fond of, even if I don't use them much. Time and Timbre, Drone Lab, Probability Pack spring to mind here.

So, I just wanted to ask people who post here: what are YOUR must have packs? Which ones could you do without? Or do you do what I did and just download and install everything?

completely eradicated from my hdd all sound packs (after taking DAYS to install them). at the end i just kept the devices and the max for live stuff. modulators especially.
"must have packs" i already have my own collection, and with ableton packs there's gonna be a huge overlap. don't want to have gbs of sounds sitting there for nothing, not even inspiration.
voice box was actually cool and i kept it though.
