Hey!

I only have part1 of SD3(v. 3.0.1) core library right now (a thing I'm not really interested in), it's located on internal harddrive & it works properly. But also i've got the "Fields of Rock" SDX installed on external HardDrive.

The problem is: if i try to add path to SDX by "browse for library path(s)" button in Settings > Libraries, all i see is errors "Library is damaged" or "no sound libraries found in selected directory".

I tried to add lib by "Add alternative library path..." on the right side of Core Library Path menu. But... no way.

Maybe i have to install full core library, or put SDX to core library folder. Idk.

Any help would bу appreciated. Thank you!

 

Have you also installed SD3 Library Update v1.0.1? I would try that as a first step.

 

Make sure you have not changed the case or anything in the names of folders, too.

I did that in the EZKeys library and got the same kind of error
I had changed the names from 'ALL CAPS' to 'Normal Style'
ExKeys 1 saw them fine, but EzKeys2 gave me that same kind of error.
I changed them back to all caps and it works fine.

My folder name is: SL-FieldsOfRock
I have that on another drive for which I added the path.
I notice you put spaces in between the words in your post ... maybe that is an issue?

 

If you open the InstallerConfig file, the naming, structure & install options can be seen.

The list of install option starts at line 141 (minimal, standard & full).

There is also a 1...0.3 update available (only use if the full library is install to avoid missing file errors).

 

Okaaay, guys, i'm dumb . I've just updated SD3 to the last version. Everything works. Simple as that.
