    Before Summer is really over, a couple more:

    Steve Allen – Letter From My Heart (1984)

    Written & produced by Mauro Malavasi, I guess I mentioned him before. In the seventies, Mauro was a member of the excellent Peter Jacques Band, creating great tracks like the uptempo ‘Fly with the Wind’ - He was also responsible for Macho - I’m a man, that I consider to be the best 70’s disco track ever made.


    Moonbase - Waiting for a Train (instrumental dub, 1983)

    Another one produced by Tony Carasco. Ah, that sequencer base!


    And finally:
    Peter Richard – Walking In The Neon (1985)

    Produced by one of the greatest: Celso Valli (which of course was responsible for Kano, Azoto, Meccano, RAF & lots more). Great drive, the lead synth around 2’00 is still superb..

    I remember that clearly.
    It is actually a cover of Material (band).
    While many covers do not stand out from the original, to be honest I prefer the Flagio version.
