I'm currently using a 7 string pack on a six string.(Just tossed the high string) Super heavy 13-60 something. Tuned to Drop A. I use DR strings mainly. Set before this and adjustment was DR DDT's and they were super heavy too but this seems chunkier. Lots of adjustment and tinkering on an old Yamaha RG with a floyd and not blocked.

been using musician gear for years with some ernie balls and d'addarios thrown in.

cryogenic photon blasted teflon coated cobalt encrusted 35 bucks a pack my fookin' ass. but i am a sucker for those $10,000 a pair audio cables though. i can really hear the difference!
