You may be correct for films with small budgets, and also it will be used for inconsequential small parts on some bigger ones. There are plenty of examples generated by AI where it creates mistakes or other inappropriate or unintended results. (like generating something which infringes on copywrites, etc). I doubt you will see any big budget film going this route. Trusting it is a leap of faith and it's hard to imagine some big budget film taking it.

why are you still beating this horse? yea we know it makes mistakes NOW have you been here during the two months when the generated photos went from uncanny blobs to "8k ultra-realistic painting of Ravel breastfeeding his uncle in the style of Velazquez" ? I mean yeah, the big-budget films will have big-budget 'prompters' and very expensive music-specific models. am I shaving my kneecaps or are you all massively underplaying this? don't get me wrong, I'm not planting seeds of panic or fear, on the contrary, I want the people to get filtered out, will be interesting to see some sparks finally... there has been zero forward movements in music, so I'm for it but don't downplay this stuff and be prepared

these 'overlords' are being governed by a higher force and no man or even a fully-fledged artificial intelligence will be able to overcome a higher order of government, there is nothing new under the sun if this glorified chatbot was the straw that broke your back, you should see the afterparty

Do you honestly believe that AI won't progress at an exponential rate and express beyond comprehension to become an all encompassing singular force and not the bumbling and mistaken prone toddler that we see today? Really? Honestly?

Human input won't be needed at all, we can just wave our arms in the air and pretend to be doing something important with the knobs on a mixing desk. DJs are going to love it.

by the way, DJs being kindergarten level and 'not doing anything' is a massive meme, people just literally have not seen a proper DJ or have the understanding to process what they do

It's comments like these which are the demise of most trolling/gaslighting attempts. It asserts the fact to be first accepted that you are either an arbiter of "forward movement in music" or a "proper dj" who has any standing upon which to judge others' work when you are not. ala Foster.

implying that forward movement in music excludes the possibility of the existence of a proper dj?! you've never deep-dived into electronic music I suppose? minimal, deep-techno, deep-house etc. would probably be nothing without DJs, they make the entire scene come to life and I'm not talking about 'mainstream' or 'boiler room' DJs either, the real heavy hitters in underground scenes are the ones you would find in your local towns, I've been researching music thoroughly since I was 13 but on rare occasions, I have seen DJs who are on par with a pianist composing chromatic Jazz, in their own right. what was the reply about, don't want to sound rude but, maybe I missed the question

just noticed, excuse me... you are the one who thinks this chatbot will not do feature-length films right? should have seen that, to be quite honest my previous reply would have been different, but still I am open for a conversation and you did not reply to me the last time I specifically replied to you, so the ball is on your end of the field

by the way, i am referring to this reply, to which I did not gen an answer:

either i'm way off or you are, because I sort of think what you mean... kind of? that I said there is NO forward movement, but then I say proper DJs DO exist? yeah but they exist with the same tools that has been available for years, nor real forward movement there either, its like saying good jazz pianists exist today BUT jazz has not progressed much during the last few decades, those are both valid on their own. in redargds to the chatbot dilemma, I'm still waiting on you

what jazz music are you listening too that inspired you to say this ''NO Forward Movement '' phrase? .......last time i checked and seen all type of musicians jazz and rock and gospel and more genres learning new chord movements and coming up with new colors within the chords and melodies so what u mean by there is '' No Forward Movement...music is always evolving every second of the day there is no end of creativity when it comes to music there is chords that musicians still haven't discovered and put together its not a over night process or a 2 year thing with music its a forever eternity of learning and the enjoyment of learning will show how much u are into music

Basically yes... though not if AI eventually achieves something that actually qualifies as consciousness. Obviously that's a ways away, if it ever happens.
(I did say any true AI.)

i dont know most of the complex chords by name to be exact but i know how to play them its more of a subconscious thing but if u want to get into the exact type of chord combinations and the exact name of the chords from different exotic scales check out https://www.youtube.com/@SeanWilsonPiano/videos Sean Wilson youtube page
his page is based off of chord combinations and some combinations are combinations that we never heard before very creative the thing is when i said color of chords and coming up with chords i was talking about the different combinations and voicings and configurations

side note if u want to practice and know the exact chord names get this app called Chordie its very good at telling u the exact chord you playing

i'm not being a dick about it, I don't need to practice or look at things, whatever chords you show me even if they have been found by you, I will tell you the exact categorized name and use for it using theory no older than the 70ies. so yeah that's what I'm on about. As I said I will be damn impressed if you can get past the 70ies using whatever type of approach and I am no rookie either
