Used Nuendo for a few months (back at version 10 or so). Realized I'm doing the same shit I did with Cubase, so all other Nuendo-specific features were basically just sitting there. Went back to Cubase.
If you're interested in video stuff, just use DaVinci.

 

Now that we have AI the audio/visual world is changing rapidly. If I were to choose between Cubase and Nuendo right now I would go with Nuendo because pretty soon I will be wanting to create AI animations alongside my music.

 

Umm .. I don't know whether it's only a placebo effect to my ears, but I feel that the sound of Nuendo is just thicker compared to Cubase. And btw all Cubase features already inside with more audio capabilities such as voice designer etc.

for my video need i would only use ADD now ... it's a damn workhorse

If you are a music creator (only) - stick on Cubase
If you are a music creator as well as a post production audio editor - choose Nuendo

this is the simple answer i can share..

 

Yeah its a 'placebo effect'. It's the same audio engine in both apps.
