I'm looking for recordings of the BBC Radio One Breakfast Show with Kevin Greening and Zoe Ball from either 1997 or 1998.

I tried the BBC Archive Service but he couldn't find what I was after, so I'm wondering if there's a dodgy place on the Internet somewhere that might have recorded all of the episodes?

Even playlists might be helpful if those exist. The Archives aren't open to the public or I'd spend a week trawling through all of them.

 

Have you checked archive.org? Not sure if it's got BBC stuff, but it's definitely worth to check.

 

I'm sorry I don't, but I do have some old 'top of the pops' on video with Zoe ball hosting them (Hopefully I still have the tapes stored in airtight bags in the loft.) I can have a look at the weekend if you'd like me to dig them out?

 

I did already, thanks for the suggestion. There are some shows on there but only going back a few years and the database only really goes back to the start of 1998

Thanks for the offer, but it was the Breakfast Show I'm after. I had a couple of tracks played on there and I can't even remember what year it was. Bit of a needle in a haystack. I have the recording of the second track and they mentioned having played it but I never heard the first one being played

 

What about on old torrents, Have you checked any of those?

No these tracks were only aired on The Breakfast Show. I've seen those Essential Mixes on a site somewhere

Cheers for the link. It does look like somebody will have recorded those shows but finding them might be nearly impossible... I can see now that the dates are between Oct 1997 - Sept 1998

 

Have you tried Soulseek? Worth to check that, there´s a lot radio show collectors too

 

Never heard of it, or forgotten about it... Looks a bit tough to search, I've installed it and found a couple of Kevin Greening references but its a bit slim... Cheers for the suggestion
