Hi all, I downloaded a flp project yesterday from the web and I saw that it has their mixer slots, painted with brighter colors, see this pic:

    and compare with this pic:

With opaque colors; opaque red, opaque orange, opaque yellow and so on, of course, I use the default custom color palette from windows, (the one that pops when you click the "+" button, bah u know) and I create custom colors, etc and I still get opaque colors in the fl's slots
Is there a trick to color the mixer slots like the first pic I posted? I wanna know this just for curiosity I'm a Fl studio fan since its ver 8 :grooves: :grooves:

    Thanks in advance :mates:

Yes you can, but a bit fiddly

Create / save your template (.flp) then open the template in a hex editor

Locate the channel name (edit/find) and just before the name you will see 3 characters (after the floating black dot #95) this is the colour code. Edit the corresponding hex code ( 3 x2 values) for the hex colour values you want then save. You can find plenty of websites to identify colour hex values. Open template in FL Studio again.

Note if you change the channel name, the colour will revert back to the pastels.
