Does anyone have the McDSP stuff from AudioUtopia working in Windows 11 at all? I really like their stuff, but initial use of them seems to result in the plugins not opening up or not being scanned in Windows 11.

Anyone else have them working?

 

I had to install Audioutopia SoundToys in order for McDSP Futzbox to work… Odd, but it worked.

 

Had the 6030 ultimate comp installed from the audioutopia release until a month or so ago. VST2 recognized and working flawlessly on FL Studio 21 + win 11 (vst3 throws the "can't recall saved state" error).

 

what daw are you using to get it to work i been wanting to use fuzzbox thats my favorite pluging from McDSP

 

Nuendo 12 R2R or V.R.

 

Tell me again someone.. What's the advantage of win 11 over ten or even 7 if less and less of the stuff you need actually works?
And please... don't say security purposes because I wouldn't put my audio machine online anyway.

 

Compatibility with the latest apps?

 

I guess then its a trade off whether you want the newest or what you're use to, because from what I see on a regular basis you cant have both.

 

Ya sometimes it feels like "Cake or Death"

 

I guess the workaround to have it all is to dual boot, but even then it's gotta be a pain in the arse if you suddenly want something on the other OS

 

THats what I have... WIndows on BOotcamp & I use MacOS for FInalCut, Logic & SWAM instruments.

 

Best of both worlds you can't have one without the other
