I got a vocal stem file from a Cubase user.
I imported it to Ableton, and it looks like this.
I can't hear the sound, but it plays normally in Windows.
Auto Warp is off and I've tried to reduce the gain, but it hasn't changed

I googled and found that many people are having the same difficulty, but there seems to be no suitable solution

The file's sample frequency is the same as the project? It should be converted anyway, but maybe there's some messed up metadata that Live doesn't like.
Try to open the file in a Wave editor (Audacity etc.) and if it opens fine, just export it as a clean file again.

Maybe it's created and exported with 64 bit floating bits in Cubase? Ask the client to supply an XXX hz file with 24 bits and see if that solved the issue?
