Not exactly what I'm looking for but it sounds interesting. I didn't know this software. Thank you so much

Thank you all for your responses. :mates:
I think what would come closest to what I need would be either "The Orchestra for Kontakt" or "NI Session Strings". :like:

Other ways might be to feed the melody into Scaler to get chord options and the output into The Orchestra or NI Session Strings, Scaler has many built-in performance patterns.

Maybe you can try this (old software, old style GUI, but it has some interesting features)

    Pizzicato

Just recollected it, heard about it years ago, and your post reminded me of this tool: Onyx arranger.
    Just visited their site http://ntonyx.com/01_oa21_01.html
    and found there this:

    Ethnic, Exotic
    Strings, Synth Pad
    Synth Lead Arpeggio, Pulsation, Solo
    Violin, Viola, Cello

Exactly what you're looking for (me too)!

Oh dear, While I don't mean to put a dampener on your creativity but this smacks of "I have no real idea what I'm doing". Fair enough, we were all there at the beginning but the difference for many is something, that seems alien to the younger generation. I'm referring to crazy notions like 'Study', followed by 'Practice' and after 10,000 hours you'll be a professional musician. Mozart and/or Beethoven didn't have any technology so stop being lazy and actually start working. Jeez!

I think we need to define terms. Sorry, this will sound snarky and it's not meant that way but when you said "I need a string arrangement" what you really meant was "I need notes played on strings". Which is different, and much easier to achieve. I think most of the confusion in this thread is down to that semantic mental disconnect.

Another thing you might look at is uJam Hans Zimmer STRIIIINGS

Scaler 2 would be probably best starting point

... and don't forget about references...that arranged perfectly (as well as sounding). For example, this piece combines some baroque and pop together:

I guess u r doing arrangement for orchestral score, I use Rapidcomopser, scaler doesnt do neither does instacomposer, u need to choose what notes (voicing/orchestration) u want to add for a particular instrument. for that rapidcomposer is good also musescore but not as flexible as RC.
    Dont know of others.

So here is what i do, but its a bit complicated but really fun,
    Things u need
    1. DAW that is capable of multitimbral midi routing (not Ableton)
    2. Divisimate (if have money buy it, or demo it or just do what we do, but buy it if u like it)

    Now,
    1. Open up RC inside daw, do ur routine routing stuff that tires everyone. Just make a template for later use.
    2. if u have Divisimate now, create a loop back track, and route the Midi from RC track to loopback Track, and from loopback out to Divisimate.
    a. If u dont know how to make loopback for divisimate check the tutorials.
    3. Create different tracks for inst. and route midi from Divisimate to those instrument tracks.
The best part of using this is its just a click of a button and u can route the notes/voicing to different track/channel.
    4. Drop in your melody into RC (assuming that u already created melody track)
    5. Add another track in RC route it to loopback track. Copy paste the phrase from melody track in RC add variations to the phrase, like for ex. Add Chord notes, remove original notes there are a bunch, look into it.

This much fun than some software generate arrangement.
    Have fun.

If u dont know what divisimate is, go through these.

The best way until now is to learn some music theory. Even a medium level is better than a self generated chord pattern that sounds equal to million others.

Unless you wanna sound like exactly like the rest.

Band in a box is a good tool to get a chord basis, but even with that you need to know some orquestation, the range of every string instrument you want and the playing techniques (pizzicato, legato, sul, etc).

All the ways lead to Music Theory

At a quick glance at the manual it's just a notator, not arranger,
    or I missed something?

I think that most of string libraries already manage divisi.
Divisimate is not an harmony arranger, but a wonderful program for monophonic instruments that you want to play polyphonically, SWAM as example, but is pretty difficult to setup, and you need to understand at least the basics of strings divisi articulation.

You could use Notepad++, Vim or Visual Studio Code for example.
Create a new document and write:
    Code:
    x = #myString;
    strcpy(x, "arrangement from a melody");
    Done
