water and foods is tricky, because in studio I don't want mess gear up, closed bottles are okay, but no beers, coffees or chocolate etc.. xD
LEDs (and lights in general) are tricky too, because one day you'll want make videos and realize they flicker and look terrible
- natural light from a real window is very nice to have indeed, just realized I always have one anywhere I work or listen to music, randomly looking out of window is refreshing as well

 

I most def confirm they create a lot of TRUE PEAKS in your mix. During your mix...? Whatever

 

I'd prefer the 3rd option. But not in studio.

 

Philips Hue. It can instantly change the mood of a room, and you can dial it in from your desk using Bluetooth.

 

It's usually my cat, either in my lap or sitting in the chair next to me. But he just passed away Friday so its been a bit empty in the studio this weekend.

My most honest condolences. I also love having them around. We've got 7 here, but two of them who like me the most are usually hanging here at my "audio corner" on the couch. Man they can sleep... if I could sleep like that. (anxious, depressive insomniac here) Anyway, they calm me down. Living with animals feels great.

 

I always have a sculpture on my desk that I've made and occasionally rotate them in and out. They keep me grounded and on task for some unknown reason.

 

Unusual & suggestive - not just saucy music that throbs in your studio, huh?

Sorry about your cat. I would be really down if I lost my dog. he's almost always with me, resting at or on my feet under the keyboard...all 40 kg of him. a sweet dog.

 

Yeah it's been really weird this weekend. He was literally born in my closet a little over 10 years ago and has been attached to me ever since day 1. Every time I go in the kitchen I expect him to start yelling at me for food, every time I go to the bathroom he should be knocking on the door to come in, but it's quiet now. Definitely taking some time to get adjusted that's for sure.

Not any time soon but more than likely. I have two others, one's 11 and her daughter is 8, but he was the one I had the bond with. His pals are wandering around looking for him and calling for him, but they're also enjoying the fact that 'dad' actually has more time for them now too.

 

I recently found some cheap led lamps that pull me away from the computer.
