for example if i want to find bookshops in uk i type bookshop site:.co.uk

for USA i can't type bookshop site:.com cause all countries use that

is there a way to find specific sites only from USA that way in google search?

 

just search it in uk etc etc as booksphops then youl get a list of everything, unless im missing your point

 

I think I know what you mean and while a lot of times handy (and I use it), even:

will not necessarily give you the UK stores, if the store in UK has .com, .ninja or whatever at the end of url

You can try to go to Google search main page and in the bottom right corner select Settings > Search Settings > Region Settings > (check your area of interest) > Save. That way Google will be doing the geolocation for you, I guess..

 

I use VPN for that task if you set your location to the country you want to search shops in google will automaticly appear with searches in your set location.

Maybe just add to the search location USA?

 

Just Google list of US bookshops. Main US bookshops, Best rated US bookshops. US bookshops by state. Largest US bookshops. Most Popular US bookshops etc. You could also search by publisher or and author.

 

use duckduckgo besides not being google
it can be set to your region (directly on the frontpage without menu diving)
