Free "Cross-grading" from the UAD-2 plugs to native might seem attractive at first, but that comes as a slap in the face to all those who spent BIG BUCK$ on UAD-2 hardware that now become very expen$ive knick-knacks for your mantle piece. Much as the slap in the face was to UAD-1 owners when they shit canned all support and plugins to make way for the UAD-2. This all coming from UA who said "these plugins are so unique and follow the original hardware they were modeled after so closely that they could never be run by a native DAW/Host system by themselves"... This is what I was told by one UA support tech back when I was fighting with them to get the UAD-1 POS to WORK AS ADVERTISED...

 

I highly doubt that. These folks are crafty craftsmen and love a challenge. It WILL happen. Just a matter of time.

I don't know how do you know this but at this time is only compatible with UAD cards.
