Thanks for the reply, but the Hotone manual, doesnt mention if you can set the levels for instrument or line for the send and returns, and thats really what I wanted to know, but thanks once again.

 

I was about to buy 3 of their amps for two but unfortunately it looks like they only take payment through PayPal and my PayPal acount was limited after I tried to sell a TV box on Ebay. Lucky for me that there are other sellers who take other types of payment.

Finally got through all the pedal presets. The second last bunch are fuzz pedal/amp captures, mostly useless to me.
The last few are bass presets, nothing as inspiring as the guitar amps.
Installed the IK product manager and Tonex and Amplitube 5.
There's a few other freebies.
Looking forward to trying the new high gain captures.

Rodger's has 9885 tonemodels, this one merged has 9881.

 

I like having multiple smaller libraries for a faster load time. In fact I think that I will make one with my favourites when I get the time.

 

3000 profiles in one Library.db the most optimal choice in terms of the number and time of plugin loading

 

totally the opposite for me, I'm using ToneX for mixing and this huge library comes in handy where I could just play the whole track while browsing through the rigs one by one until I get a good starting point that suits the song then I start tweaking from there. The browser ability to select only the type of sound you want also been really useful to me when having big library like we do here. I don't use ToneX for playing guitar anymore now because I'll endup not playing but testing all the amps and it will lead me to forget what am I suppose to play.

IK still havent done anything to the crazy loading time when a patch that contains ToneX amp inside Amplitube though and it still annoying because I like pedals inside Amplitube and combining it ToneX gets me pretty good results.

This is not a long thread. I'm a member of a British Army forum and one of the threads on there is up to 8495 pages and still rising.

 

Finally got around to installing all the software and hooking the Tonex pedal to my computer through USB and... no USB connection
No syncing graphic on the Tonex software. no uploading or downloading models.
I looked online and this is a problem with Amplitube pedals, including Tonex.
Some people had it working until an update and then gone...
Have emailed Amplitube and Sweetwater for help.
I have a Universal Volt 2 in my system and there's no sound thru from the Tonex.
And there's no sound either way once I connect the Tonex.
Saturday Night Nightmare.
Any solutions from our resident computer geniuses? W10 pro 64 bit.

 

Just common troubleshooting suggestions.
a) You installed the required software then rebooted the system?
b) Have you tried swapping out the USB cable?

Is the ToneX Pedal capable of acting as an audio interface? If so, have you chosen the correct interface in your setup for DAW (In and Outs)?
You could also try uninstalling and reinstalling the software via a util like Revo Uninstaller to uninstall the software and then just reinstall it to see if that fixes the issue.

Tonex pedal is not capable of acting as a USB audio interface, according to IK Multimedia.
The USB pedal connection pedal issue has been well documented over multiple UA pedals.
These schmucks need to get their act together

The guy was just a salesman but told me to call back Monday and they would get my computer problems solved.
We'll see about that, but I appreciate the timely call back.
I don't experience customer service like that from anybody else
