i was just wondering if you guys could help me with this. after install, the blue omnisphere R2R keygen says "Failed Patching" eevery time i try to patch the omnisphere.dll file that comes in the patches folder. I run everything on administrator and i shut off my anti virus and firewall. please help

if anyone out there who has had their share of problems with getting this vst up and running, please help a brother out....

Hello, here to help by experience....

make sure that you are not running any daw or program that can open the plugin before patching. All you need to do is open the 2048keygen -TeamR2R 2015- before doing the challenge code part, make sure that you patch the .dll

for most users it is located in c:/programfiles/vstplugins (or wherever you designated for the install)

when you patch it will let you know in the bottom window if it worked.

next step is to open your daw (whatever you use) and you will be asked to enter the license. Copy the challenge code and click generate.
copy this info back onto omni and it will tell you that it needs to be closed and reopened.

For Mac it's a little different. you will need an app like crossover to run the keygen. for the most part fairly easy.

 

First, do what Goya said to do, you may also need to patch the one in your STEAM folder wherever it's located on your system, it should be B:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\STEAM, in most cases it's C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\STEAM but I have multiple drives set up.

 

Having trouble with this now on MAC Mojave, But i indeed did start the DAW before the I patched So will do a complete uninstall and re try
Was aslo having TONS of problems with permissions
ive used these omnispehres for years so im familiar with what i had to do but chmod batchmod nothing was working. Ended up re downloading everything to see if that helps.

 

About the patching both are partly right and partly incomplete. First, you need to patch 2 Dll's one in your VST folder and the other one inside the Program Data/Spectrasonics/plug-ins/64bit. Certainly, there is nothing to patch inside the STEAM folder. With that said, you only need to patch one from one of those 2 directories and then copy and paste the patched dll to the other. In order to patch it all you need to do is move one the DLL's to the desktop and patch it there, or have full permissions to the dll's and the "read only is unchecked".

 

you don't need to do a fresh install...you just need to patch the vst and then use the keygen for the challenge code
