hey, i'm not a singer by any means.
sometimes i just record stuff. i used to have a desktop microphone a friend left at home (lol), but it broke a few months ago. now i'm using the webcam mic and it's complete shit.

i was wondering, do you know any USB mic? i do not have an audio interface.
just need a better mic. options are:

    - get a desktop mic (useless because for talking i have the mic from the webcam)
    - buy something a bit pricier like Audio-Technica ATR2100x (which is 90/100 €)

so the question is: if i buy something like the above mic, would i notice an increase in the sound quality? i suppose so, just want to hear it from you.

    Also consider a Zoom H1n.
Decent quality stereo microphones, doubles as a decent Stereo i/o USB audio interface and a USB microphone too.
Oh, and it can record to MicroSD cards, powered by 2 AAA batteries.

Don't buy USB mics. Because the are shit Why? Because, well, USB is a data connection. This means there has to be a AD-Converteer built into the Mic alreade which converts waves into 010101011101 before it even reaches your USB port. So with USB mics you get 2 shitty devices fused into one: a shitty mic and a shitty AD-Converter.

Get a used AudioInterface and a regular mic instead. Better value for the money.

Yes why not, go for it for now, do your vocal productions with it,until you can get your hands on a proper audio interface & mic
Audio-Technica for me always has a great value to price ratio & you can sell it later on, or give it for free to a friend later on,cheers!
*Friendly tip : use a gater & de-esser plug ins on your vocal chain, with the compressors & eq that you already use
