Hi Guys, I need help, I'm looking for inspiration ... I started to produce quite powerful electronic music (Skrillex, bloody beetroots, dustup, electrometal etc. etc.)
but lately I'm producing a bit 'of future bass, pop and melodic trap (Madeon, marshmello, flume), are happy with what I'm doing but I also need to create something more powerful ... Let me explain, I will not do powerful things as before (skrillex, bloody beetroots etc.) but I also want to make music a bit faster and powerful of future bass (my latest songs are in the range of 80-100 bpm). the problem is that I do not know (or can not find) NOTHING that inspire me! I do not want typical club music (merk & kremont, aoki, Melbourne bounce, big room) but I want make jump people! (And myself) ... Do you advise me to artists or genres of music?

Why don't you listen to hard and fast music outside of your genre. When you pick up something that sparks within your soul from what you have listened to, it will inspire you from within because it will not be as derivative of another's work.

would like to listen to more powerful and fast music, but when I navigate on youtube, I never find music that inspires me, that lights my heart! .. I often find music edm type kshmr, merk & kremont, zedd ... I respect their music and I like it but not enough to produce that stuff ... When I heard skrillex with scary monster and nice spirit my heart has made "boom" and I did that stuff, but now it's been a long time, and that flame is extinguished and among the new features I can not seem to find anything that is love

The main reason is that they are old things, (except knife party that I already knew) I like very modern sounds, I'd like something that has a range of 125/135 bpm which is not too bad (NOT as bloodybeetroots, Cyberpunkers, Zardonic, music a few years ago I appreciated so much) currently adore Madeon, Porter Robinson and all Future Bass music, the problem is precisely that does Jumping !!!

Hi @freebeatprod! Maybe not the answer you expect. I would stop copying something but find your own style. Otherwise you are later also only a copy of a copy.

I would also say that you can overhear something and should rather take a break and walk for hours without a cell phone through nature. That is the true inspiration - everything else is influence from the outside.
Give your brain what it really needs, relaxation, dreaming and reading.

 

From what he wants to produce hes looking more towards said the skiy, illenium, seven lion... just to be fair. You should listen to them 24/7 fi you want to make something as strong and powerful as it can get and im not talking rezz mid tempo which is dope in itself. you should also listen to probably one of the best sound designers I have ever heard and thats 1788-L

 

OKAY BEETHOVEN walking days on end by a creek listening to "NATURE' I didn't know you wrote the pastoral symphony. Let alone Vivaldi's 4 seasons.

 

I hate YouTube and Pandora's algorithm for finding new inspiring music but love Spotify's.

If you have Spotify in your country try using your Discover Weekly or Release Radar playlists to get ideas.

Sure, but it's hard to find things on YouTube. There's a billion new uploads a day and their algorithm just shows you monetized/paid videos over new/good content. They keep trying to push this Masego song down my throat too. I'm sure US folks have noticed it.
