    There is a persistent myth that you have to do a lot of exercise to gain any sort of benefit. But you can maintain fitness and flexibility but doing a series of stretches once and doing 5 minutes (of intense exercise eg a warm up followed by sprinting) once a week.

    Doing 10000 steps a day or whatever will not maintain fitness if you are not doing any sort of intense exercise.

    I exercise/lift 3 times a week and jog every other day except Sunday. Feels good man. Not looking to gain a bunch of mass or anything. I do it to keep in shape, general well being and stress release. It also helps with singing & screaming, that could get pretty demanding.

    My current job has me in front of a computer 8 hours a day but I've started cycling to and from work and swimming at lunch time.

    An inactive lifestyle is a killer which has given me all types of health problems from bad backs to leg pain. So now I go for a long walk at least once every three days. I also walk up and down the fourteen flights of stairs in my block. Use it or lose it.

    You guys need to change posture for at least 15 min. I keep a 40 min timer and everytime it rings I try to stand up or take a walk for 15 min. I also go to the gym 5 days a week + 45min bike 5 days of week. I know it's a funny subject but don't let your future you regret your past decisions.
