How to download Long YouTube videos

    I was wondering if anyone knew any sites where I could download YouTube videos that are an hour long...

    Any suggestions appreciated

    been using yt2mp3 to download 720p versions quickly (sometimes 1080p too if yt2mp3 has them).
    No lengths limit, downloaded 8h with 720p video no problem.

    otherwise JD2 with ffmpeg can download you any quality.

    you can download videos too there, not only audio ;) thats why im using it as it faster than JD2 for me.

    With JDownloader you can choose not only what to download (video, audio, subtitles, etc.) but also quality of media.

    Kind of tangential, but if someone needs a media downloader specifically for Android (music, podcasts, ...), then the best thing I've found is PowerTube. Uses YouTube-DL under the hood I believe.

    I usually just add ss before youtube in the URL and that does the trick for me.

    I don't doubt you, I just didn't like how despite my ad/script blockers the website attempted to download shit without any warning. Thanks for providing another option tho.
