How to install M4L devices inside Ableton 11?

    Just acquired Ableton 11 Suite and I'm going to begin my journey into Max for Live - was wondering how you properly install these devices? Is there a 'right way' to store them in the User Library folder?

    1) if its ALP just drop it into Live

    2) if its axmd just open it in Live.
