Hello

I installed a library to kontakt 7 (Best Service - Shevannai: the Voices of Elves) however when trying to add it i get this messy looking interface with the knobs all over the place. Can someone please explain? Im using windows 10 by the way.

Are you using Kontakt Portable or regular install - legit or otherwise?
I wonder about your graphics drivers.
I know there was an issue with black screen.

I have this same problem with Kontakt 7 Portable with the Audiomodern Sync libraries, but for other libraries it works great. Very strange. I still have Kontakt 6 Portable however, which doesn't have this problem.

 

Move it to startup disk, documents folder. Had this with other libs on Mac.

it would be regular install, i never had this issue before. And im assuming it might be a drivers issue potentially it picks everything up bt loading it is the main issue, i kknow they have NKR and NKG files if im not mistaken i tried deleting the NKR file after watching a vi'deo explaining the issue and it was solved however in a later version of kontakt. Would Kontakt portable resolve this?

 

collect samples and convert correctlly, by adding ressources more (nkr file) before resave, is the only way to process
or you will see only the buttons and missing graphics.
the nki's are destroyed once resaved without ressources.

it is a bad usage result. the library was badlly exported in compressed samples or monolith without graphics.
this function is not automated in kontakt, it still need a copy paste more to get a working library.

what a bad idea to delete nkr.

 

Same with everything but i would have the same issue with kontakt 6 as well with the messy gui its very fustrating

 

It's indeed the .nkr file not being used when resaving instruments that breaks (destroys) the instruments GUIs. Did you resave the instruments?
