    Hi Guitarmaniac64,
A TGP thread says "you can use an database app
like https://sqlitebrowser.org/ and manually edit the Skin field".
    But I don't know how.
Pics are from the standard ToneX.
Pdf is just for giving the name of the amps.
    See you.

I've had my first play with TONEX since installing the latest version and so far some of the IK amps seem to sound a lot better than they did before.

I'm finding the latest rlz with a big database doesn't load at all sometimes... I think it's time to trim it down. Wish there was an easy process just to add models without being online.

It loads but it is long. No way to make the library lighter easily.

SQL Bulk editing Favorites my Noob way with SQLiteStudio:

Just open the Library.db, and go to the ToneModels table as usual.
    Sort the results by Favorites..

Select your Favorites from the list but selecting the GUID field,
    (I've got 140 atm.)

Then Right-click > Generate query for selected cells > UPDATE

This opens a SQL Editor with a Query,
it should have the List of all the GUIDs that you selected in the end,
    something like ('XXX', 'YYY', 'ZZZ',)

This GUIDs List is what you need.
    Copy it.

Then all you need to do is,
Open the LATEST Library.db and replicate the same steps to open a Query,
just modify the Script Query to:
    UPDATE ToneModels
    SET Favorite = 1
WHERE GUID IN ('XXX', 'YYY', 'ZZZ',)

Voila, all your GUIDs can be set to Favorites = 1 in bulk.

*(Only one ChatGPT was viciously tortured to find the solution..)

I'm also thinkin about Splitting the DB in 5 parts by type..

So it could be 5 databases:
    Amps
    Amps + Cabs
    Pedals
    Pedal + Amp
    Full Rigs

Then just place the one you wanna use, making it faster to load..

    -Update:
Leaving only "Amps+ Cabs" does indeed Speed-up the loading time from infinite,
    to just very foking long.

However the DB is exactly the same Size as before.

    So I wonder,
¿maybe this only deletes the Entries and not the internal "Associated Data" from the database?

How to make sure we have deleted all this Data?

    -Update 2:
All we need to do is run the command VACUUM, and it skims the DB.
In the case of only Amps + Cabs it gets down to 73Mb

When you delete rows from a SQLite database, the database file size will not immediately decrease. This is because SQLite does not automatically release the disk space that was occupied by the deleted rows, as it assumes that the space may be needed in the future for new data. Instead, SQLite marks the space as free and makes it available for future writes.

To ensure that all associated data is deleted, you can run the SQLite VACUUM command. The VACUUM command rebuilds the database file and reclaims unused disk space. Here's an example of how to use it:

    VACUUM;

This will rebuild the database file and remove any unused disk space. Note that running VACUUM may take some time depending on the size of your database, and it's recommended to perform regular backups of your database before running it.

It's also worth noting that deleting rows from a database can sometimes cause fragmentation, which may affect performance. If you notice any performance issues after deleting rows, you may want to consider optimizing the database by reindexing or analyzing it.

Thanks but it seems like alot of work and i might not have the knowledge to do it
I use to change names on HX Edit/Native using visual studio code editor app for python it was pretty easy to rename all amps and pedals it just took some time as i had toi rename the padal/amp names on 2 places before it appear on HX Edit/Native
But then Line6 made bin files instead of json files so now i cant rename anything anymore
I can however still swap out the icons for real amp and pedals pics as those are regular png files and is not inbedded in a bin file.

As the Database was becoming cumbersome for some users to load I made the decision to finish the previous library.db on the 6-03-2023
and Started a new Library.db starting the 07-03-2023

you will see below the drive has 2 folders
    [IMG]
The old is in the Finish Date -06-03-2023
    [IMG]
The New started Library Database is in the 07-03-2023
    [IMG]
Hopefully this helps with the Load times moving forward unfortunately if you need an amp from the Finished Library.db
the load time will be in some instances quite longer for some users

New update as of the 7-03-2023 using the New Database

Is anyone able to post the following model from Tone Junkie TV: TJ 66 AC30 JMP Clean

It has been available since February 15, 2023 and is listed number 10 on the Most Popular list and number 7 on the Most Liked list on ToneNET.

Thank you for the information! I kept waiting for it to show up in the packs that Rodger posts, never imagining that I could have downloaded it straight from the Tone Junkie TV site.

A good lesson I learned is to never give Tone Junkie or Worship tutorials an email address that you care about. The amount of junk emails I now receive since giving Tone Jonkie my email address so that I could get the free Tone Junkie presets has increased tenfold. So for me the name Junkie in Tone Junkie now has a totally different meaning.

Thank you so much for these library compilations! So, is the idea that we will plug in whichever library.db file we want to use (new or old) each time we use the software? Or is the a better way I am not aware of? As the total database grows, library management is going to become insane. I bought the pedal which came with the software, so I have Tone net access. I don't want to rely upon Top 10 lists because they are popularity contests -- amp models reach the top not because they are the best sounding, but because there is a glossy promotion video showing the capture being made or something. That doesn't mean the popular ones aren't good -- they certainly are. But I am still looking for a good way to find the best captures from the muck. Eventually, it may just have to come down to modeling my own amps with the settings/tone etc. I prefer.

Funny you should ask... Just spent a few hours this morning trying the Neural Amp Modeler out. Actually sounds pretty good. All depends on which captures you are using. Only downside is CPU usage. Pretty brutal!

Everyone still liking the Tonex? How is it on CPU usage? I tried it when it first came out and thought it sounded really good but still prefer my Kemper. To me, the Tonex Marshall profiles all sounded like they had diode clipping in the distortion channel and the Dumble amps don't sound like Dumbles at all. Like I said before, it all depends on which captures you are using.

I'm proud to announce my Tonex pedal has absolutely zero CPU usage and sure is easier to gig with than a desktop PC with multiple peripherals.
Don't use Marshalls, prefer EVH, Diezel, Soldano, etc.
Have heavily customized several presets on the pedal but haven't even hooked it up to my computer yet.
Too busy playing for hours and having the time of my life.
So much more to look forward to when I start browsing the trove of online captures.
But I'm so happy with what I'm already playing thru that it might take some time:)

That's good to hear Kluster. Yeah, I was thinking about picking up the pedal. Would be using it for reamping. Just wish it had spdif on it.
