Behringer RS-9, new TR-style Eurorack drum sequencer goes into production - March 8, 2023

According to B., the beta testing is finished, and they are currently checking whether the stock of chips is sufficient to go into production. Yes, these chips are currently a rare commodity. You should count twice before you go into production at full speed.

We’ve just finished the testing of the RS-9. It’s a fantastic Eurorack drum sequencer based on the RD-9 and can trigger up to 10 instruments. It’s the perfect companion for the Brains with all its percussive instruments.

Target price is US$ 179.
We’re currently checking the availability of all components so we can move it into production.

Any news on the BCR32?

 

The BCR32 is still in the "further" development phase and Behringer has not yet given a release date.

 

I'm not getting it but it looks pretty neat.

 

Excellent and quite logical addition to their Eurorack modules. They should have made it sooner.

 

It is more and more complex to produce hardware.

I remember when Neural DSP remade their Quad Cortex from scratch (PCB to components and drivers) because they got chips troubles ... and they are not alone.

Been looking forward to behringer releasing rs-9 I’ve been using the beatstep pro as my drum trigger source but the rs-9 looks promising for triggering all my drum modules , it reminds me off the Erica synths drum programmer but half the price which is great . Still sounds like it’s a while away but they say there going into production stages now

 

that is a funny press release, in that it announces their production control is even jacked up. " Go count the components before you start running. twice.". To a master planner, that announces their issues and completions in SAP,etc. do not match and they do not have a believable perpetual inventory record. That is a dig at someone for us to get to read it like this.
