    As we have only just learned, German musician and singer Hans-Joachim Behrendt has already passed away on February 27, 2023 at the age of 68. Behrendt was in the spotlight primarily as the drummer of the Berlin band Ideal, with whom he recorded and released three albums. Before that, he was active in combos such as the Neonbabies and Mild Maniac Orchestra, among others.

    After Ideal broke up in 1983, he left the music business and led a 'normal' bourgeois life. But that didn't stop him from touring sporadically as a drummer with bands like Alphaville or Camouflage.
    Rest in peace, Hansi, we will not forget you.
