Hello people,
can somebody please bring light to the thing which is going on on my old Windows 7 Laptop?
I havent used it for a very long time and wanted to deinstall some programs.
Then I found Microsoft Visual C++ programms where the publisher seems to be russian (or is it just a download from a russian version)?
Cant remember that I ever downloaded something like this.
I am a little bit scared that this is spy-software or similiar.

Those are Microsoft development libraries so programs you get / may have grabbed can run. The programs reference these libraries to speed up development instead of having to reinvent the wheel (make the same function over again). You can always uninstall those three and get the latest ones off of MS's site.

Just uninstall the Russian and install this package:

I agree. I highly doubt there's a problem there but doesn't hurt to reinstall a full pack. It's fast and light.

 

Thank you guys for your input! However I need to reinstall the whole Windows thing in the near future because the PC is very slow right now.
