What's the most efficient way to set up Kontakt 7 (or 6)?

    It's like @Semarus said. In options->memory you can set the "preload buffer size". So the faster your SSD the lowest you can set it reducing RAM usage and load times.
    The right quantity is up to the number and complexity of libraries you use in your projects,
