I made the switch .. for my music production i felt Nuendo is "thicker" for everything.
My top list features from Nuendo are :
    1. Includes all features and functionality of Cubase Pro plus more ..
    2. Dialogue detection algorithm with AI-powered .. quite intuitive
    3. SuperVision metering modules .. very nice
    4. Dolby Atmos mixing and rendering with Ambisonics 3D sound and VR headset support
    5. Workflow almost similar with Cubase that I am familiar with

but sometimes i still use Protools .. when i missed it only :D

En lo personal uso ambos programas. Una de las cosas que me parece genial en Nuendo (de las muchas mas que tiene este programa) fue personalizar todos mis metodos de teclado que habitualmente uso en Pro Tools.

you don't like S1 ? a lot of people I know picked S1 when they leave PT, even after they tried Cubase (which is 95% the same as Nuendo). The nerds went to Reaper of course.

I use both, ProTools for livestream and Nuendo for productions like creating soundtracks. Each has it's own strengths.

I used to have to use Pro Tools in uni and I never liked it.
I've been a Studio One user for a while now until its annoying freezes and quirks started to seriously slow me down. I've recently given Cubase and Nuendo a try and I can't beleive what I was missing. Their workflow and feature set are incredible. I'm not so sure about the UI but maybe that just needs adjusting to.
I'd definintely recommend a switch from Pro Tools to Nuendo, especially if your not happy using PT.
