Not everything actually. Neve 1073 is still exclusive to UAD hardware users although native version exists.

Now that you mention it, afaik since Spark was launched you could use the stuff in spark for free if you had a perpetual licence for a specific the plugin (i assume that includes the 1073). How is that different from getting the newest native version? Did that ever work or was it like a "strings attached" type of thing?

If you own UA hardware and buy UAD-2 plugin which is available as native, you get native version for free.

With this new model presented today, you don't have to own UA hardware and you can buy currently available native plugins as perpetual licenses. (except mentioned Neve 1073)

So yes, it is somewhat 'strings attached'. I honestly don't know how it will be in near future because UA is making some agressive moves ATM.
They just announced the update for LUNA tomorrow and nobody knows what it will bring

UAD offering native running plugins to own gets my hopes up actually.
While I'm not the biggest fan of iLok, there are things that feel and handle worse imo.
With the current discounts, I'm considering getting the Waterfall B3. Before that comparisons with the IKM version I'm currently running are due.
We'll see what the future brings.

the funny thing about this is if UAD does get cracked yall going to use it and forget about it within 2 months then you will be craving for another bundle of plugins that haven't been cracked yet like Acustica Audio its like a never ending cycle all we do is just want want want lol

Really wanna get my hands on that Ampex ATR-102 Tape plugin too. I've consistently heard great things about it from various engineers i trust over the years

There's still lots of UAD plugins that aren't native yet

 

on a personal note, if they get cracked i stick with those and my legit PA plugins... i won't need anything else ahahahha

That Acustica group is pure madness. They are crazy lol. I'm still in it but I think I can't take it anymore.
I also would love the ATR-102 to be native, but I have a feeling that they will 1) do it at the very last 2) never port it..
I hope not ;)

Indeed, there are still a lot to port. That's why I have a octo card...
But they are going in the right direction (minus the price $$$)
