Similar app like Pacifist for Windows

    Hi guys. I don't know if there is an app like Pacifist to examine and extract individual files and folders from the installer for Windows. Any idea? Thanks

    Quite often, the exe installer is nothing else than a zip file. The first thing to try is to open it in a zip manager like Winzip or 7-Zip for example.

    Other application installers may be specific to an installer maker.

    Try Innoextractor, from Havysoft. It is excellent and it is free.

    Another freeware that I like a lot is Resource Hacker, from Angus Johnson.

    im using UniExtract, think you can download it from github.

    and for MSI setups, im using lessmsi, which can also be found on github.
    (to lazy to find you the links.)
