You get a heart attack or a stroke. I had a heart attack 7y ago. It wasn't fun. My lifestyle was way too reckless at the time for months, and I did have a heart-fault I wasn't aware of at all. I had a faulty valve my whole life. You can do nothing about that except open heart surgery and that's nasty. I went through with it because the doctors said I would die and I believed them.

For healthy people, who are getting rarer and rarer these days no matter what they tell you (all of my friends are on some kind of meds in their 50s due to fucked up, too sedentary lives) my guess would be social abandonment? You realise there's not so much friends left you can just go out with or even talk to. Some people just proclaim you to be too old to talk to or be a person of interest for some reason. They tell you your life is over, in a sense.

Younger people just don't want to talk to you because they have their own ghosts - their controlling parents. So they don't want to talk to you because they think you are the same as their parents.

Yea, it's a bitch being over 50...

Let me tell you something. I'm not a parent and I don't wanna be one. Music is what I love to do and my escape from the shitty society we live in. Computers were a natural progress for me and I wanted to know how to use them for music in a best possible, most efficient manner.

You can always get a good natured advice from me about how to do some things and younger people can be really beachy about it. I've told you why, but that's not excuse for them. They are a victim of their own parenthood. They should overcome it for their own good.

One thing when you know you're too old possibly: you tell people everywhere that you feel like you're not gonna make it into the oldest age. I know I'm not gonna make it. Something is going to fuck me up sooner or later from 7y behind on. It's a very strange feeling that possibly put my wife off... so now I'm single. I should've coped with her more gracefully.

One hasn't got enough brains to cope with everything, I guess.

My first moment of "oh shit I'm getting old" was when I realized I was attracted to people (OF LEGAL AGE, OF COURSE) who were born after the year I had discovered masturbation

 

My I'm getting old moments are when I realize I critique stuff from a purist standpoint,
Examples are thoughts going true my mind like: this is not music/a good film/a nice picture.

Scrolling on tiktok seems like a punishment to me, I wouldn't do it if you'd pay me.
That is also a big sign to myself that I am getting old.
