Hi guys, I would like to share with you a deep test on Antares products by V.R. They are acting very strange to be honest. Tests performed on 2 different computers, Win 10 and 11, latest. When opened individually on empty projects they start out fine, but as the sessions become more congested, they have strange issues. EFX+ randomly changes parameters, Vocodist opens but hangs completely, forcing you to restart Live and Cubase. Vocal EQ while working sometimes becomes extremely buggy, same speech for AT Slice. With Auto Tune Pro X working on the graph mode I had a random crash on Live 11. A strange issue for Magix Samplitude and Sequoia users: all Antares plugins are scanned correctly, but as soon as you try to load any of them, the DAW crashes immediately.
So guys, have any of you had the same experiences?
(P.S. big fan of V.R here, and I have never had any major problems with his releases, which I'm very fond of and grateful for).

 

Really interesting, at this point I should test them and see precisely these problems or eventually others

 

At the moment I can still confirm that Samplitude X7 Pro and Sequoia 15 crash immediately when trying to load any plugin. Tried 4 of them, AT Pro, EFX plus, vocal eq and harmony engine, DAW immediately crashes and closes

 

Hi, I am on a Mac platform (Mac Studio, M2 Ultra chip, OS13 Ventura, Logic Pro 10.8) and I am experiencing the same issue with all Antares plugins. They crash the DAW when used but scan correctly on install. I have tried to get help from support but so far no response which is appalling.Before upgrading to this system, I was working on on a Mac Pro with an Intel chip and Logic 10.5. The Antares plugins were working more or less ok but with sound issues and audio glitches that I had to work around. I thought they were due to my old Intel chip but after reading your post I wonder...

 

I don't think I've ever had any problems with Autotune Pro X, AVOX or Harmony Engine in Reaper, but I honestly haven't used them that much (only had them installed because a client was using them). Maybe they would have started showing problems eventually, but I never experienced any while working on those 3 projects that I had them installed for.

Are you talking about the legit versions? Because I doubt that Antares would answer any support questions regarding "unofficial" versions
