What is the name of this sound?

    Its a type sting sound like Strings being hit by something its quite common in soundtracks only I don't know the name of what the sound is called and it is been bugging me. Its comes in at the 20 second mark of this track.

    Col Legno battuto. But its played to the point of almost zero tonality & all strike. Definitely layered with something. Could very well be sampled.... Composer sounds like they love epic trailer music & Hans Zimmer.
