How can I find replacements or alternatives of very old lcd screens and ccfl inverters for laptop (2006 or so)? I have got a laptop with a screen going into black after a short period of time of working. I can see the desktop on the screen when I lighten a screen wit the torch. The laptop is Medion FIM2000 with Pentium 3 1GHz. Screen 14.1” XGA with Ambit inverter.

That would be easier if you're not actually going to carry it around...

It is bloody old Medion and nobody sells it. I just have feelings for this one. Yes, I think I have to use an external monitor.
