    Not bad and pretty good for a legend hitting his 80s but Dylan still leads the field for ancients still cutting the mustard. Bowie of course departed on an incredible high water mark.
    Blaine Reininger's (Tuxedomoon) double CD is really worth giving a listen to - got some of the old experiemental panache and more conventional stuff throughout the album.

    I like the early works of David Bowie - the 80s... had the verve and the power it sounded fresh and alive.
