    Yes, I wanted to understand that kind of structure.. intro, verse, chorus.. sometimes is hard for me. I always focus my mind on the sounds or instruments of the music and not on the whole song. Could be that I'm extremely focus and it's harder to see the basics.

    When I see somewhere things organized, I know better how to make something. For example patterns that usually repeat in boom Bap like no drums on certain parts, delayed horn or similar sound on other, no bass....
    And the most important, learn the harmony/melody relationship between verse and chorus..
    Yes, I think I should copy some songs to be faster. I have made some nice songs of different genres but it's like I don't get good results on finishing tracks.

    Yes, it's a good idea to use the stems until I'm faster.

    :hahaha: Punch on my face. I've laughed, yes, you're right, I've to stop searching all my life time and stop beginning projects everyday without finishing.. (But those arrangement videos that other people posted here will help..:hillbilly: :speaker::crazy:)

    Yes, Thank you very much! Something like this is what I was looking for..! this will help me a lot in the beatmaking process.. it's simple but this adds very good tips and really clarifies the arrangement idea on my mind.

    Also, I have to try not adding too much sounds or complex melodies to fulfill it, try to make it simple.

    I was very prejudiced with Naive D's channel. I always tend to go to more old-school channels and when reading many of his videos "FL studio" I had never, or almost never, stopped to watch his videos. He explains and organizes ideas very well. First video will help me a lot in my beatmaking process!!
    Thanks again !! :shalom::hifive:

    I'm glad I could be of help. His ability to explain and describe things properly, like you've mentioned, made me become a subscriber. At the time, I was looking for answers regarding sampling techniques and I found many videos that didn't explain a thing and were just clickbait videos. Eventually I found what I was looking for on his channel and have been a big fan of his videos ever since.

    I'm not going to jump into the eternally elitist mess that is Hip Hop music's politics, but I have to add something here just clear things up in a broader sense, for people who missed the memo:
    The debate over Trap as Hip Hop never really even started and the moment's long gone. You can claim it as a relation all you want, but musically it has more in common with Electronic and Pop music than Hip Hop, and if you want to claim it as culture, it's not just the '86 Oldheads and Boom Bap Purists refusing to acknowledge Trap culture as Hip Hop culture, most Trap artists who know what the score is would easily give you the fact that the cultures are distinctly different and have little to do with one another, and arguably, want little to do with one another. In what will no doubt be a futile effort to try and avoid a shit-ton of comments picking shit apart to the Nth degree musically, I'm not talking about "Trap" as anything with a 3/6 flow and electronic hats, just like when I refer to "Hip Hop" I'm not referring to anything that has a Bob James sample and snare with a vocal embedded in it, I'm talking about them as individual musical entities as identified by themselves and the artists who embody the core of the genre (not to be confused with the media/marketed artists who are merely Pop artists in different clothing.) In doing that, there's an obvious relation, but it's a lite relationship at best. Again, musically.
    But what I notice is a lack of people taking note of the cultural significance that's mimicked, with another generation of young, Black men creating music from scratch, creating what they want to hear and can relate to. I'm not a fan of Trap music; I don't mind some of it if the lyrics are there or there's some soul behind it, but like it or not, the fact that you have a mass of people finding their identities and connecting through music can't be overlooked or written off. More than that though, culturally, it can't be seen as "good" or "bad," without a strong counterpoint to whichever side you take, which is something I see being done through the darker marketing of Trap, something which has been seen by some to be following in the trend of the violent portrayal that Hip Hop was given in the early-to-mid nineties.
    This is what I see though—in both Hip Hop and Trap—people blurring the lines between culture and its music. You have every right to voice your opinion about a genre of music, but watch that you don't tread on the culture that it represents.

    And I can't walk away without pointing out that this right here is some ignorant shit:

    @Rockseller here has managed to slam together the erroneous announcement that Trap is dead, while still showing that he doesn't have enough knowledge of Hip Hop and its history to recognize that these "gay hooks [paraphrasing]" are a throwback to shout songs.
    Let's give a round of applause for this level of arrogance. :drummer:

    Thank you! Nice tutorials. I was looking for something that explains more focused on the arrangement of boom Bap but I've enjoyed watching them and he talks a bit about structure at the end of the videos. Thanks!
