Spectrasonics Omnisphere, Trilian, Stylus don't have any uninstallers..

So how do i uninstall them?

Anyone done it??

Try to use Revo Uninstaller (pro)...It's very good app for that.

 

Just remove the dll from the vst plugins folder. Then remove the steam folder.

 

ccleaner alot of folks swear by this app , removes also cleans registry pretty god darn freaking good i might add

 

BoogieWoogie is correct, you have to manually delete everything from your vst folder & program files & programData folder and do not worry about the registry. Spectrasonics does not drop anything into it which is why it does not show as installed or have an uninstaller.

 

just dont... you'll end up reinstalling them anyway lol... I cant count how many times I deleted StylusRMX Trilian (and Trilogy before it)... they always found a way back though; usually I discovered some new use for them that I hadnt realized in the previous install

 

windows side:

* VST 32/64 folder
* RTAS folder
* c:\program files\spectrasonics\
* c:\program files (x86)\spectrasonics\
* c:\programdata\spectrasonics\
* wherever is STEAM folder

mac side:

* /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components
* ..../VST/
* /user/Library/Application support/Spectrasonics/
* /Application/Spectrasonics/
* wherever is your STEAM folder located

On 2nd thought Omni & trilian are just too good to uninstall. Specially omnisphere. Beautiful synth to get lost for hours and hours, sound designers' dream..

I know stylus is capable of doing lot of stuff, but right now it gotta go..

p.s. REVO uninstaller is an amazing utility app. Must have... Although it wont detect any app that hasn't changed registry..

Yes it is...With Revo installed, just right click on the folder of app you want and select uninstall with revo, it does the rest...
