Please help me understand why in the latest release of Sugar Bytes FX bundle 2022.10-V.R Looperator does not display presets in the plugin. But it can flip through them. What could be the problem? On Audioz, also in the comments, I saw that the user was facing such a problem.

Ha first post eva!

All of the sugar bytes instruments (or at least the older ones like Looperator) have missing keys you have to add into the Windows Registry that point to the where the presets are stored. Then the plugins will see them and work nicely. It's somewhat tedious but once you do one you'll have no issue knocking them all out, especially with a good regedit tool. There is a discussion somewhere on this forum about this exact issue with instructions on how to fix. Sorry I can't link it right now but if you can't find it then probably shouldn't be editing registry keys either

I just installed the version and the looper has all its presets, as you can see from the image below. I would recommend reinstalling this. So uninstall and install the version again. P.S.. What DAW are you using?

Preset Browser
The middle of the Header houses the Preset Browser.
Click the name of the current preset to open the preset library dialogue and step through the factory presets via the < > buttons.

You can pick any of the included factory presets from the preset library dialogue . The left column contains the categories/folders.

Click the “Disk” button to save your own presets in the “User” folder.
The factory presets are stored in /USER/Documents/Looperator/Presets.

Good news.
I wonder why though, as I have TWO entries on a Win10 (21H2) machine:
1) presetpath
2) presetpath0

Both point to C:\Users\**USER**\Documents\Sugar Bytes\Looperator\Presets\

The latest version of VR is somewhat problematic because no references to the presets have been added in the registry for all plugins. You must manually add them...

I've added a .reg file to solve this problem. Just rename the extension of the file in .reg and replace USER NAME with your OWN USER NAME without quotation marks. Import it into your registry by double clicking on it. That's all...

i have same problem
i checked presetpath and presetpath0.. same direction
but when i open looperator - i see nothing in presets (even in-stock(?) presets)
idk what should i do
