    Had that several times, that's why I don't bother making requests anymore. Because 9 times out of 10 I would get told off for not 'following the rules'. Even supplying software, they told me off, obviously not appreciative of my efforts so I stopped bothering. Don't waste your time with those people.

    Most of the time, people are annoyed by rules because they either don't have the discipline to follow them, because they overestimate themselves or they haven't understood that rules are a good institution whose observance means order and peace of mind.

    there's a lot that never ends up on the sister site via request or upload . id honestly prefer a request and eventual upload vs having to grab it from a place that has you clicking a bajillion shorturl links just to find out the hosting site is long since defunct .
