What instrument/EFX is this sound?

    Hello,

    The other day I was listening to some Greek rappers, and I've found this particular song. I can't recognize what the main instrument for the melody is. If someone know, please help. I have 2 theories, first: this is some metallic sound, and second: this is staccato violin... I'm not sure for both by the way.

    Does somebody know how I can get this sound or what VST has this sound built in?

    Sounds a lot like a steelpan with some very short release and something like a chorus.

    think its just a normal tom with some reverb that's been pitched down, corpus is also good at sounds like that tho
