Introducing BeatSpace for Sonic Charge - Microtonic (27 December 2022)

We are excited to announce that we have a special Microtonic gift for you.
We call it BeatSpace, and it is the most ambitious script we have written for Microtonic yet.

Using data from Patternarium, we trained a neural network to create Microtonic beats and arrange them on a 2-dimensional map. With BeatSpace you can explore this map and combine sounds and rhythms to create your own unique beats.

BeatSpace is included in the latest version of the Official Microtonic Script installer, available for registered Microtonic here.

Just saw this thread on the recent list - I own Sonic Charge Microtonic. I had not installed the scripts, so I did and gave Beatspace a whirl. It's really useful! Thank you very much!

 

It is very good indeed!

Do try out the other scripts as well, FM Tool, MacroTweak, Reverse, and the various randomizers are all great and the MIDI file import comes in handy sometimes.

 

God, I love microTonic....

Microtonic is such a beast. Beatspace is a welcome addition to that arsenal.

So they turned Patternarium into BeatSpace and integrated it right into the plugin. Pretty cool. Also, I've not seen the dark skin before, nice. Is that new?

I haven't used this plugin in forever. In fact I don't even have it installed anymore. It's a great drum machine though. Good to see it's still being updated.
