PA 2022 bundles.... new plugins so so good. i really enjoy them. shout out to R2R

 

The only plugins released in 2022 that I kept are MODO Bass 2.0 and Termless by VTarAmps.

Neural DSP's Tone King Imperial is a winner to me, also Sonible Smart Limit, tho I'm not sure if that one is from this year or 2021

Do you mean plug-ins that were released in 2022, or the ones that were k'ed in 2022?

I would have to give the title of best overall plugin in 2022 to Tokyo Dawn Labs SimuLathe. It's innovative, useful for both beginners as well as pros, incredibly deep and with the same level of quality and detail we have come to expect from Tokyo Dawn Labs. The more advanced CUT version is very niche, but considering that vinyl mastering is quickly growing in demand, plug-ins like SimuLathe will probably become more common and needed in the future.

My favorite release on the sister site this year has to be the Tone Projects plug-ins. They sound so damn good!

 

2022 is all about buying vintage big boxes to run on your retro rigs - im rediscovering, the new stuff bores me to death
