Native Instruments updates FM8 synthesizer with Apple Silicon and VST3 support

Version 1.4.5 adds Apple Silicon support (including AAX), a VST3 plugin version, and a fix for an issue where the arpeggiator would skip the first note when Key Sync is on. Additionally, FM8 no longer needs to wait until product scanning is finished to become operational.

FM8 offers an unprecedented range of features and effects. The classic crystalline bells and keys are perfect for creating melodic and percussive sounds of the highest quality. A unique arpeggiator, a revolutionary sound morphing feature and a large selection of new, charismatic effects add countless sound-shaping possibilities. The sonic potential of FM8 goes well beyond the confines of conventional FM synthesis.

The update is available to FM8 users via Native Access. New users can purchase FM8 for 149 USD/EUR at the NI Shop.

VST3, yes... but still not possible to resize it (I didn't succeed) and the bugs (especially on the browser) are still there. This is the result of my first tests after updating yesterday.
It seems that NI doesn't care about the world and just recompiled in VST3 to calm the complaints without allowing any access to VST3 features (GUI resizing, memory and CPU optimization, MIDI handling, etc.) and without fixing any bug that has persisted for 15 years now.

And they even didn't notify their customers by a newsletter. It is by forums that I learned this new VST3 release! If you don't read forums and don't visit by yourselves the NI's webpages at this moment you're not notified of nothing, even if you have subscribed to their newsletter. Amazing!
    :bash:

Countless product abandonments in 20 years to the despair of customers, a persistent refusal to fix bugs year after year, and now a false adaptation of FM8 to VST3 (they have just put the VST2 in a VST3 container) and a lack of notification to its customers... NI respects less and less its customers.
